we're moving
Mood: groggy...thinking about getting back into bed. Weather: SUNNY and No rain!!!!!!! Sound: sleepy sounds from Justin Well, Justin has contacted IWU. They are going to send him the necessary papers to get everything going. It's basically all of the last minute and final papers, but nonetheless...PAPERS. We called around yesterday trying to find an apartment up there that is affordable. Especially w/ our sloppy little income. Heh, it's really hard though considering that IWU is in Marion and we're in Princeton...4 hours away from each other. As of right now...All of the places we've called have just seemed to give us a run around...So, I don't know what we're going to do. As for the meantime...We will be moving across town. Really, it's down the street on the 300th block and we're on the 1100 block now [on the same street]. As some of you may know Justin and I have been living with his parents. His parents are filing bankruptcy b/c of their mortgage company. The company will say that they haven't recieved a payment [when Maudy sent on in] and then they'll ask for another payment. Or they'll hold the payment until it's late and then call and say that they haven't recieved a payment and ask Justins mom to pay the late charges. And because of this they haven't been able to pay on the principle, all the money has gone to pay late charges and interest. AND after the 5 years that they've been paying on it...They still don't have any equity on either of the houses [home and rental]. But anyways...We'll be moving right along w/ his family. And they got a house yesterday. It's an older house, but it's so nice and it's pretty big. And the best part about it is that the upstairs is an apartment. It has it's own bathroom and a teeny tiny kitchen, quite a bit of closet space, 1 bedroom and a living/dining area. It's really not all that bad at all. Justin and I like it and we're so excited about kinda having our own place again!!!! *sigh* OMG...I'm so hungry! The feeling just came over me...this is wierd! Well, I do think that this is all for now. I will maybe write some more later... B'bye: EMILY |
